The total amount of traded shares in the Saudi Stock Exchange for the month of November 2009 was SR 77.16 billion With decrease of (32.28%) from the previous month where the value of the traded shares was SR 113.9 billion. The percentage share of Saudi nationals from the market trades was (88.9%)for selling which is SR 68.57 billion and (87.5%) for buying which is SR 67.51 billion. The percentage share of Saudi companies from the market trades was (5.0%) for selling which is SR 3.73 billion and (7.0%) for buying which is SR 5.13 billion. The percentage share of investment funds from the market trades was (1.5%) for selling which is SR 1.16  billion and (1.5%) for buying which is SR 1.12 billion. The percentage share of GCC nationals from the market trades was (1.2%) for selling which is SR 916.11 million and (1.3%) for buying which is SR one billion. The percentage share of Arab residence in Saudi Arabia from the market trades was (1.7%) for selling which is SR 1.31 billion and (1.7%) for buying which is SR 1.33 billion. The percentage share of foreigners residence in Saudi Arabia from the market trades was (0.2%) for selling which is SR 139.01 million and (0.2 %) for buying which is SR 119.90 million. The percentage share of foreigners via swap agreement from the market trades was (1.7%) for selling which is SR 1.33 million and (1.2%) for buying which is SR 944.17 million
